There are regular trains from all over the region which bring you straight into the center of Portsmouth stopping at our closest station: Portsmouth & Southsea

Oktoberfest, Guildhall Square is less than a 5 minute walk (approx.) from the Portsmouth & Southsea station.

Please make sure you check train times before you travel.

By Sea

Oktoberfest Portsmouth is very close to all Ferry services operating from France, Spain, the Isle of Wight and Gosport on a regular basis.

From the Isle of Wight:

Hovertravel

10 minute walk (approx.) from Hovertravel terminal to Oktoberfest, Guildhall Square

Run once or twice an hour until 20:45 back to Ryde, IOW

Hover Travel also have their ‘HoverBus’ this will drop you over to Portsmouth and Southsea Station & can drop you back to the Hovercraft again, making life very easy!

From Gosport:

Gosport Ferry

15 minute walk (approx.) from Gosport Ferry terminal to Oktoberfest, Guildhall Square

The Ferry runs until 12 midnight with a smaller late night boat operating until 4am.

The Hard Interchange is also located just outside the Gosport Ferry with good bus routes and taxi services running to Guildhall Square.

By Car

We are trying to be as green a festival as possible so if you can use public transport or walk then please do.

If you simply must drive then there are a number of local car parks close to Oktoberfest Portsmouth have a look at Parkopedia for locations and costs.

Southampton Airport is only a 30 minute drive (approx.) from Portsmouth.

There are many hotels and B&B’s nearby in Portsmouth city centre and/or Southsea. But Southampton Airport is only a 30 minute drive (approx.) from Portsmouth.
